How it came to life
Where it started
My path led through enterprise business development, first at Tesla, then at Phaidon International. Again and again I saw the same pattern: brilliant engineering teams building world-class robots, but struggling with the part that pays the bills, selling them into large industrial enterprises.
The founding
In 2025 I founded Edelbots in Zurich and started on my own. The first months were cold calls, closed doors and a lot of no's.
So I showed up in person and listened. I visited many fairs and events, which was crucial to what Edelbots is today. One lesson stayed with me: a company earns the right to grow through customers, not slides.
What we do today
Edelbots connects industrial companies with a robotics solution tailored to their specific use case. No two robots are alike: every project brings its own technology, its own buyer, and therefore needs its own sales strategy. Robotics is our only focus, nothing else.
Why Zurich
Zurich is the heart of European robotics: world-class research, top engineers and great start-ups, all within a few kilometers.
That is exactly where I want to be, close to the technology and the people building it.
