My story
How tennis shaped me
Tennis was my great childhood passion. What began at six became a formative chapter of ambition, connection and personal growth. When I founded Edelbots, I stepped away from playing and coaching because I no longer had the time. The passion and the lessons stayed with me.
The first serve
I started playing tennis at the age of six. From day one, I was hooked: the movement, the competition, the beauty of a perfectly struck ball.
First national tournaments
By the time I was eight, I was competing in national tournaments. Competition became my teacher: discipline, composure, and the hunger to keep improving.
Tennis across Latin America, the USA and Europe
Over the following years, I travelled for tournaments across Latin America, the USA and Europe. Experiencing different tennis schools and training systems showed me that there is more than one way to reach a goal. That openness has stayed with me.
The injury that changed everything
An injury at thirteen taught me early how important clean technique and a healthy relationship with your body are. I learned to accept setbacks, rebuild patiently and think beyond the next match.
From player to coach
Over time, I wanted not only to improve myself, but to help others do the same. So I became a certified J+S Tennis Coach and began sharing what I had learned with players of all levels.
From the court to Edelbots
Founding Edelbots meant making a clear choice about my time. There was no longer room for tennis or coaching, so I stepped away to give the company my full attention. The discipline, persistence and enjoyment of a demanding challenge came with me.

Lessons beyond the court
Attention to detail
On the court, I learned that progress starts with the fundamentals. Paying attention, practising deliberately and taking the details seriously are habits I still bring to building a company.
Mental resilience
Competition taught me to stay composed under pressure. After a lost point, the next one matters. That perspective helps me navigate the uncertainty of entrepreneurship today.
Passion
Tennis showed me the energy that comes from caring deeply about a challenge. Today, that same energy goes into building Edelbots.

Sharing what I learned
Earning my Swiss J+S tennis coaching qualification allowed me to share my experience with others. That chapter taught me to listen carefully and support people in their development.
Today: Edelbots
Since founding my company, my full focus has been on Edelbots. I no longer have time for tennis or coaching. The sport is part of my story today, not a service I currently offer.
